Ferreria 2011 Vintage Port is the pick of Sogrape’s Ports for the 2011 vintage. Ferreira Porto can trace its origins back to 1751 and has always been respected as a producer of high-quality Portuguese wines. The Estate was bought by Sogrape in 1987 is the now considered a benchmark Port and the true “Portuguese Brand”. When Porto Ferreira winemaker Luís Sottomayor first tasted the Ferreira 2011 Vintage Port, he noted this would be “a wine for the history books”. Indeed, and within a very short period, time is already proving him right with leading wine magazine Wine Enthusiast rating the latest Ferreira Vintage Port with an historic 97 points (out of 100). Luís Sottomayor comments “this is a very important award which fills us all with pride, especially as it comes from one of the best and most demanding markets for Vintage Portos in the world!”
