Valdeorite Rutas del Arte is a red wine made by Bodegas Valdeorite. It is bottled as a Vino de la Tierra de Extremadura.
Bodegas Valdeorite is the brainchild of Don Manuel López Morenas and was founded with the premise of making quality wines in a region well-known for the mass production of cheap wines. The modern winery is equipped with modern technology and equipment and, under the watchful eye of world-renowned oenologist Ignacio González, tradition and modernity combine to create some of the best wine that Extremadura has to offer. The “Rutas” project, the Rutas de La Pasion and Rutas del Arte wines, are Ignacio’s projects.
Valdeorite Rutas de La Pasion is a blend of 64% Tempranillo and 36% Syrah.
Valdeorite Rutas de La Pasion is a bright red colour with violet hints. The nose it fresh and fruity with mainly red fruits, black pepper and hints of chocolate and mocha. The palate is well balanced, there are plenty of red fruit flavours, more hints of spice and subtle toasty oak notes. A complex wine with lots of ripe fruit and a lingering finish.
Valdeorite Rutas de La Pasion is great with any meat dishes, rice dishes, sausages, ham and cured cheeses.
