Destilerías Espronceda is located in the town of Almendralejo in Extremadura, Spain and was founded in 1943 by Domingo Rodríguez Suárez. They make a wide range of traditional Spanish liqueurs (such as acorn liqueur and orojos) and modern style spirits, liqueurs and gins.
As mentioned above, this fantastic chocolate liqueur is made with 100% Tequila by Cooperativa Tequilera La Magdalena in the Jalisco region of Mexico from 100% blue agave plants. The tequila is blended with a milk base, cacao, chocolate and vanilla.
As well as the Tequila Black 38 Chocolate Cream Liqueur, there is also a Blanco and Reposado in the Tequila 38 range.
