Romeo y Julieta Linea de Oro Dianas Cigars are part of the most exclusive and elegant “Linea de Oro” range. The range was launched in 2020 to celebrate the 145th anniversary of Romeo y Julieta.
The “Golden Line” comprises 3 new vitolas: the elegant Dianas (very similar in size to the Cohiba Siglo VI although it is 5mm longer), the shorter, wider Hidalgos and the torpedo shaped Nobles. They are slightly stronger than the classic range, medium to full in strength, with an aromatic and nuanced flavour. It is the first time that Habanos S.A. has created a sub-brand within Romeo y Julieta brand.
Romeo Y Julieta cigars was founded in 1875 and the brand is named after Shakespeare’s doomed lovers. Romeo Y Julieta grew into an internationally renowned brand under the stewardship of Don “Pepin” Fernandez who was one of the first to recognise the power of the cigar band and product branding. Their cigars were a favourite of Winston Churchill and the Romeo Y Julieta Churchill is named after him.
Romeo y Julieta Linea de Oro Dianas have a foot band designed exclusively for this linea. Made from the best tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo “totalmente a mano” – entirely by hand – as long fillers.
