The VegaFina Nicaragua Robusto Tubo is a Nicaraguan Puro, made from 100% Nicaraguan tobacco in the Dominican Republic. As well as this extremely popular Robusto-sized cigar, there is a Corona and Gran Toro in the same range. The first VegaFina Nicaraguan cigars were launched in 2015.
VegaFina cigars are produced at the famous Tabacalera de Garcia factory which is located in the town of La Romana in the Dominican Republic. It is the largest hand-made cigar factory in the world and employs more than five thousand people. The factory also produces Don Diego and Santa Damiana cigars and many other well-known brands. The VegaFina brand was established in 1998 and has since become one of the world’s best-selling and-made cigar brands. It is the best-selling premium cigar brand in Spain. The brand takes its name from “Vegas Finas” which translates literally as “finest fields” and is owned by Altadis USA.
Like all VegaFina cigars, the VegaFina Nicaragua Robusto is crafted with meticulous precision and is a true testament to the unrivalled quality of Nicaraguan tobacco and the skill of the Dominican torcedores. This cigar is made with an exquisite blend containing Ligero, Seco, and Viso leaves from the Estelí and Jalapa growing regions. The dark brown Habano 2000 wrapper is smooth with an oily sheen adding a rich complexity to the blend. The tobaccos are aged for a minimum of 4 years.
