Shrinking Violet Old Vine Syrah is an IGP or Indication Geographique Protegee wine from the Pays D’Oc. It ia made by Boris Kovac, a Serbian born fourth generation winemaker who travelled to France more than twenty years ago. The grapes for the Shrinking Violet Old Vine Syrah are sourced from very old vines grown in l’Herault. The wine is fermented in small stainless steel vats and is then aged for 6 months in a combination of first and second fill oak barrels.
