The Harlequin Shiraz / Durif blend has produced a richly flavoured wine, with the spice and dark fruit characters that typify Shiraz grown in the warm regions of northern Victoria, combining with the earthiness and tannin structure of Durif. The Harlequin, fashioned from feathers and brightly coloured silk, is one of the earliest hand-tied flies and has inspired a natural and purist approach to fly fishing.
