Barren Jack was the original name for the dam now called Burrinjack. It is a major dam that was built to provide fresh water to the once dry lands of the now flourishing Riverina region. Barren Jack offers the rewards of this wonderful foresight – good soils, abundant sunshine and a passion for winemaking.
