Chateau Morin Langaran Picpoul de Pinet Beaugaran is a white wine from the Languedoc region of France. This is a lovely refreshing wine and is a classical match for seafood dishes.
Chateau Morin Langaran is situated near the Etang de Thau and the Mediterranean Sea. The estate has existed in various forms since 1330 and passed through many families until most recently the Morin family purchased the estate in 1966. Caroline, daughter of Albert, is the young and dynamic winemaker. The 54 hectare estate is planted with Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Muscat Petits Grains, Viognier, Terret, Roussanne, Piquepoul, Muscat d’Alexandrie, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot. It is Picpoul de Pinet which they are probably most famous for. The Picpoul de Pinet grapes come from vineyards planted on light stony limestone soils situated on a plateau surrounded by pine forests. The climate is Mediterranean (as is the local vegetation – thyme, lavender, live oaks, pine trees) with maritime influences and sea breezes.
Chateau Morin Langaran Picpoul de Pinet Beaugaran is fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks with minimum contact with oxygen to preserve the lovely freshness and primary aromas of apples, lime, pears and floral notes.
Chateau Morin Langaran Picpoul de Pinet Beaugaran is suitable for vegetarians.
