Chateau Vrai Caillou is located in the district of Soussac, in the Entre-Deux-Mers area between the Garonne river and the Dordogne River. It has been in the Pommier family since 1863 and, as was common at this time, was set up for mixed farming. It was mentioned in the Féret guide in 1879. The current owner is Michel Pommier and it was his grandfather that decided to concentrate purely on viticulture in 1920. This white grapes planted at Chateau Vrai Caillou are 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Semillon and 10% Muscadelle. The average age of the vines is 10 years old. There is skin maceration and fermentation is in steel vats.
