Compass Box Whisky Great King Street Limited Editions 2013

Each year Compass Box Whisky releases a small number of limited editions that are produced in very small quantities and are highly sought after by collectors and drinkers alike. It’s that time of year again.

The big launch this year is the Compass Box Whisky Delilah’s but there are also two test bottlings of Great King Street and a 10th Anniversary bottling of The Peat Monster. There is also a bottling called General Mayhem – I have given as much information as I have so far but will send more information when (if) I get it. Please follow the links below for more information and prices.

PLEASE NOTE – these are all being released for sale in the UK on the 16th of September 2013 except for the General Mayhem which will be launched in November. Our last date for orders is 6th September and allocation will be on a first come, first served basis.

If you would like to pre-order any of these limited edition bottlings please telephone me on 01329 822733 as soon as possible. I am expecting only a very small allocation of these and they will sell out very quickly.

Compass Box Whisky Great King Street Experimental: Batch 1 & 2 (50cl) – POA

The Great King Street Experimental batches have been created to gain feedback from customers and retailers as to which style would be preferred as the second addition to the Great King Street range. There are two different styles – a lightly sherried one and smoky one.

“Since the launch of the Artist’s Blend in 2011 we’ve been thinking about the style of the second permanent whisky in the Great King Street range. Blending provides a platform for limitless styles, so the world is our oyster. Two styles have emerged as the leading contenders – one smoky the other lightly sherried – and so we have decided to release a small experimental batch of each to see what you think. So, taste, savour, mix if you like; above all, share and enjoy them with your friends. Then simply visit www.greatkingstreet.com/experimental and give us your views.” John Glaser.
