Mackmyra Midnattssol Single Malt Whisky is a new limited edition Sweden whisky. It is made by Mackmyra at their distillery in Mackmyra Bruk. Mackmyra was founded by in 1999 by eight classmates from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm with the first commercial whisky coming on stream in 2002. Mackmyra Midnattssol is a matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon cask, some combination casks made from American and Swedish oak and some casks that have previously been used to store wine made from birch sap! A quite unique finish.
