Trapiche Coleccion Roble Malbec
Trapiche is one of the largest and most highly-regarded wineries in Argentina. The winery was founded by Tiburcio Benegas in 1883 and today it is Argentina’s largest exported Premium brand. Trapiche had a deserved reputation for producing great value or money wines and has been twice been named “Argentinian wine producer of the year”, in 2004 and 2008, by the International Wine and Spirit Competition.
The Trapiche Coleccion Roble Malbec is 100% Malbec and is made from grapes harvested from vineyards, in the foothills of the Andes, located between 750 and 1100m above sea level, where a combination of terroir and ageing for 9 months in French and American oak barrels creates a wine with finesse, harmony and complexity.
