Teeling Whisky is a brand new Irish Whiskey bottled by The Teeling Whiskey Company. The Teeling Whiskey Company is a new independent Irish whiskey company. Ever since Cooley Distillery was acquired by American spirits company Beam Inc. there has been a big hole in the Irish Whiskey landscape for a good independent Whiskey brand. Irish whiskey is fastest fastest-growing spirits category in the world but a lot of Irish whiskies don’t offer much choice in terms of styles or flavours. The Teeling Whiskey Company intend to change this by producing small batch whiskeys with great personality and character compared to the mass-market brands.

This special bottling of Teeling Vintage Reserve 26 Year Old Irish Whiskey is limited to only 1,000 bottles and comes from a handful of casks selected for their unique quality. Distilled in 1987 and initially matured in bourbon barrels for 25 years this whiskey is given extra maturation in French white Burgundy wine casks for a further 12 months to add an extra layer of complexity. This unique marrying process creates a beautiful bouquet of tropical fruit flavours that complement the deep layered malt and wood noted in the long decadent finish.
