Jose L Piedra Petit Cetros Cigars are a good-sized, slim cigar, similar in size to a panatela and, because they are made with short filler, are probably one of the best affordable Cuban cigars available. 

The Jose L Piedra brand was established in the 1880s when the Piedra family came to Cuba from the Spanish province of Asturias. They settled near the town of Santa Clara, which lies at the heart of the Remedios region where tobacco has been grown since the 16th Century, and started to make cigars. The brand was made continually until it was discontinued in the early 1990s. The brand was reinstated in 1996 and remains the best value for money Cuban cigar brand available, primarily due to the fact these cigars are made from short filler, although not to the detriment of flavour. The Jose L Piedra range also includes Cazadores, Conservas, Brevas, Petit Caballero and Petit Cazadores.

The blend of filler tobacco for Jose L Piedra Petit Cetros Cigars is sourced from the Remedios tobacco region and they are made using the “Totalmente a Mano, Tripa Corta” or “‘totally hand made, short filler” technique.
