The Romeo y Julieta No 2 Cigar is one of the the best known cigars from this very popular brand and it probably one of our biggest selling Cuban cigars.

The Romeo y Julieta No 2 Cigar is a Petit Corona sized cigar (the same size as the Bolivar Tubos No 2, Montecristo No 4, Punch Coronation et al.) and this size is known at the factory (Vitola de Galeria) as “cremas”. A balanced and aromatic blend of selected filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo zone make it the classic medium bodied Habano.

Romeo Y Julieta cigars was founded in 1875 and the brand is named after Shakespeare’s doomed lovers. Romeo Y Julieta grew into an internationally renowned brand under the stewardship of Don “Pepin” Fernandez who was one of the first to recognise the power of the cigar band and product branding. Their cigars were a favourite of Winston Churchill and the Romeo Y Julieta Churchill is named after him.
