Romeo y Julieta Petit Royales Tubos Cigars were first launched in 2017. They follow the current trend for shorter, wider cigars offering a short time smoking all the aroma, balance and complexity in nuances of Romeo y Julieta, the classic Habano of medium flavour. These have the same ring gauge, 47, as the classic Romeo y Julieta Churchill with a length of 3 5/8 inches (95 mm) and are surprisingly substantial for short cigar. The factory name for this cigar is “Caprichos” from the Spanish word for “whims”. It is the only Cuban cigar with this specific size.

Romeo Y Julieta Cigars was founded in 1875 and the brand is named after Shakespeare’s doomed lovers. Romeo Y Julieta grew into an internationally renowned brand under the stewardship of Don “Pepin” Fernandez who was one of the first to recognise the power of the cigar band and product branding. Their cigars were a favourite of Winston Churchill and the Romeo Y Julieta Churchill is named after him.

Romeo y Julieta Petit Royales Tubos Cigars are made from a balanced and aromatic blend of selected filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo the best tobacco-growing region in the world, in the Pinar del Río Protected Denomination of Origin (DOP) zone make it the classic medium bodied Habano. Romeo y Julieta is as well known around the world as ever and offers one of the widest range of tripa larga, totalmente a mano – long filler, totally handmade – sizes of any Havana brand.

Romeo y Julieta Petit Royales Tubos Cigars are ideal for when time is limited, or the standard UK weather makes it difficult to stay outdoors for long! These cigars offer leathery, nutty flavours and aromas with hints of maple syrup and coffee. Around a 25 to 30 minute smoke.
