This cigar is handmade in the Dominican Republic and is our most popular cigar in the Winston Churchill range at Fareham Wine Cellar.
Davidoff Cigars is a premium brand of luxury cigars which is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. They own two cigar factories, one located in the Dominican Republic and one in Honduras, which produce a wide range of cigars made from tobacco grown in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Ecuador, Honduras, and the United States of America.
Davidoff’s most famous cigars include the Aniversario, Signature and Winston Churchill ranges of cigars. Each range is well-known for its distinct flavour profiles and exceptional craftsmanship. Above these are also the ultra-premium ranges such as Grand Cru and Late Hour.
The Davidoff brand was founded by Zino Davidoff, the “King of Cigars” in 1946 in Switzerland when he released his first cigar, the “Chateau Latour”. By the 1960s, Zino was held in such high regard that the Cuban government itself approached him to produce a range of cigars from Cuban tobacco. Eventually, the brand would grow to include pipe tobacco, cigarettes, humidors and a range of luxury accessories. Zino’s philosophy of “smoke less but better” and his zest for life continue to define the Davidoff brand.
The Davidoff Winston Churchill range is a rich and complex range of cigars all of which are named after different elements of Churchill’s multifaceted character. They include the Churchill-sized Aristocrat, the Robusto Stateman, the Toro Commander and this cigar, the Belicoso Traveller.
Sir Winston Churchill was a lifelong traveller and war correspondent who explored the world. This cigar is inspired by Sir Winston’s love of travelling and, in particular, visits to Cuba and Marrakesh.
This is a short, torpedo-shaped cigar made in the Dominican Republic. A great little rich and full-flavoured smoke for when time is tight.

The Davidoff Winston Churchill Belicoso Traveller is a rich, multi-layered cigar, starting with spicy notes and woody-earthiness, transitioning to nutty, coffee, and creamy accents in the second third, and concluding with caramel, leather, and subtle wood in the final third. Its aroma is vibrant, blending earth, leather, spice, and cream, with a smooth draw and even burn.
