The VegaFina 1998 VF 50 is a short robusto sized cigar. The Vegafina 1998 range was first launched in 2018 to celebrate the brand’s 20th anniversary. As well as this 50 ring gauge cigar, there are three other sizes, all also known by their ring gauge (52, 46 and 54).
VegaFina cigars are produced at the famous Tabacalera de Garcia factory which is located in the town of La Romana in the Dominican Republic. It is the largest hand-made cigar factory in the world and employs more than five thousand people. The factory also produces Don Diego and Santa Damiana cigars and many other well-known brands. The VegaFina brand was established in 1998 and has since become one of the world’s best-selling and-made cigar brands. It is the best-selling premium cigar brand in Spain. The brand takes its name from “Vegas Finas” which translates literally as “finest fields” and is owned by Altadis USA.
Like all VegaFina cigars, the VegaFina 1998 VF 50 is crafted with meticulous precision and is a true testament to the unrivalled quality of Nicaraguan tobacco and the skill of the Dominican torcedores. This cigar is handmade with a blend of tobaccos that have been aged for a minimum of 4 years. This dark-looking cigar features filler tobacco from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Colombia, binder from Indonesia all wrapped in an attractive Ecuadorian Habana wrapper.
