The Instant Cocktail Bar – 12 bottle Selection (and a bottle of Angostura bitters!)

The idea behind this is to provide an Instant Cocktail Bar, although it is not as comprehensive as I would like I think I have narrowed it down to 12 essential bottles. It is not a definitive selection, you would still need some other odds and ends, perhaps some Noilly Prat, Creme de Menthe, other bitters or liqueurs. I’m am sure one could discuss the possible variations on this idea for hours!

The Instant Cocktail Bar contains 1 bottle of each of the following,

Golden Rum – Doorly’s 5 year old Fine Old Barbados Rum, R.L.Seale & Co, Barbados 40%

White Rum – Botran Reserva Blanca Rum 40%

American Rye Whiskey – Rittenhouse Bottled in Bond Straight Rye Whiskey 100 Proof 50% 70cl

Scotch Whisky –Benromach 10 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Whisky 43%

Cognac – Cognac Domaine Le Reviseur VS Single Estate Petite Champagne Cognac 40%

Gin – Plymouth Dry Gin, Original Strength 41.2%

Vodka – Mamont Vodka, Siberia 40%

Liqueur – Triple Sec Curacao (Orange Liqueur) Edmond Briottet, Dijon 40%

Liqueur – Marasquin (Maraschino / Cherry Liqueur) Edmond Briottet, Dijon 25%

Vermouth – Dubonnet Red Vermouth, France 14.8% 75cl

Liqueur – Crème de Cacao Blanc (Cocoa / Chocolate Liqueur) Edmond Briottet 25%, Dijon

Bitters – Campari Bitters 25%

Bitters – Angostura Bitters 44.7% 20cl
