This Hampshire pink gin is more balanced than your average supermarket pink gin:

Winchester Distillery is a small, artisanal spirits producer located in Winchester, Hampshire. The distillery was founded by ex-software developer Paul Bowler, who started with a small 25-litre still in his garage. The company specialises in producing high-quality spirits using traditional methods, modern energy-saving equipment and botanicals sourced from the local Hampshire surroundings.
When Twisted Nose Watercress Dry Gin was released in May 2013, it was at the forefront of the new gin revolution. At the time, Winchester Distillery was the first and only gin producer in Hampshire. Of course, it has since been joined by other notable Hampshire craft gins from Portsmouth Distillery, River Test Distillery, Isle of Wight Distillery and Bombay Sapphire. A range of other gins were produced, including Round Table, Navy Strength and an Old Tom, but they now focus on the flagship Twisted Nose Gins only. Winchester Distillery Twisted Nose Pink Gin is a well-balanced and refreshing pink gin with more complexity than typical berry-led styles.
The nose opens with fresh red berries, delicate florals, and a subtle hint of citrus.
On the palate, juicy berry sweetness is layered with herbal watercress and classic juniper, giving structure and depth. The finish is crisp and lightly peppery, with a gentle warming spice.
Overall, light, fragrant, and restrained in sweetness with a fruit-forward profile while retaining the character of a traditional gin.
This pink Hampshire gin works well in both simple serves and light cocktails:
The Classic Serve
An Alternative Serve
The balance of fruit and botanicals also makes it suitable for summery cocktails like a pink gin spritz.
