Xante Liqueur is a premium Cognac and Pear flavoured liqueur made in Sweden.
Xante was created by Richard Heinrich, the fourth generation of distillers and blenders at Maison Heinrich in Belgium, a family firm established in 1894. He had access to rich archive of old liqueur recipes in which he found the inspiration for Xante which was launched at the end of 1995.
Xante Pear Liqueur is a careful blend of Cognac brandies which have been aged for a minimum of 4 years in Limousin oak, which lends a gentle vanilla character and rich amber colour. This is then flavoured with natural pear essence. It is made using only high-quality, all-natural ingredients containing no artificial additives.
Xante is bottled at around 35-38% ABV, depending on the market, and has a relatively low sugar content for a liqueur (around 16-17%), making it less syrupy than some alternatives. This balance makes it versatile—enjoyable neat, chilled over ice, or as a cocktail ingredient. It’s particularly popular in trendy bars, especially in the UK, where it’s been praised for pairing well with Champagne or adding a twist to Martinis and long drinks.
Nose: Generous aromas of pear fruit and cinnamon.
Palate: Rich and sweet with natural ripe pear fruit and a touch of vanilla.
Finish: Lingers with rich cognac and woody spice.
