Glenmorangie A Tale of Cake Private Edition Highland Single Malt Whisky is 10th edition in Glenmorangie’s Private Edition range, an annual limited edition produced by Glemorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation and Distilling, Dr Bill Lumsden. It was launched in 2020.

The exquisite purity of the single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Glenmorangie distillery is testament to traditions that date back to 1843. The “Men of Tain” still follow the mystical art of turning barley and their own mineral-rich, Tarlogie spring water into this famously complex and elegant whisky. The distillery is located in Tain and is owned by the luxury good group Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy. Glenmorangie is perhaps the most famous Highland Single Malt whisky and it also boasts the tallest stills in Scotland, it is this which Glenmorangie claim gives the whisky is light and elegant taste.

Glenmorangie A Tale of Cake is a sweet multi layered whisky, lusciously reminiscent of cake, that Dr Bill devised to conjure the magic of a cake moment, finishing his favourite Glenmorangie Single Malt in the finest Tokaji dessert wine casks. The liquid is a rich copper, but the taste is pure technicolour, luscious, sweet and complex with multi-layered bursts of honey, white chocolate and fruits with a lilting hint of mint.

Glenmorangie A Tale of Cake Private Edition Highland Single Malt Whisky is aged for 10 years in ex-Bourbon casks and finished in Hungarian Tokaji (Tokay) casks. It is bottled at 46%, non chill filtered.
