Beluga Noble Russian Vodka is distilled and bottled in Russia at the Mariinsk Distillery.
The Mariinsk distillery was founded in 1900 and is located in the heart of Siberia and today is full of cutting edge technology and quality control. Beluga Noble Russian Vodka was first made in 2002. Siberia is a very remote and environmentally clean region which means the distillery has access to some of the very purest water, with a unique mineral composition, sourced from 300m deep Siberian artesian wells. The pure Siberian water and the combination of the special malt spirit is what creates the refined and rich taste of Beluga Noble Russian Vodka. After distillation in 10 metre column stills the vodka is triple filtered through birch charcoal and silver filters.
Beluga Noble’s unique soft and mellow taste is created with the addition of natural honey, oat and Silybum Marianum (milk thistle) extracts with a touch of vanilla for extra flavour. The vodka is then rested for a further 30 days which helps and harshness in to mellow and soften. This is a process that most vodkas do not go through.
Beluga is a noble Russian vodka with a modern attitude. The brand’s heritage – together with an unrivalled taste – has established Beluga as a renowned global brand and a symbol of luxury and success. Sales of Beluga vodka account for over 50% of the Russian premium vodka market and I reckon they know a thing or two about vodka!
Best served neat as a shot, straight from the freezer, with some Beluga caviar naturally.
Beluga Noble Russian Vodka is a classic Russian vodka and is smooth and creamy. It has a clean and citrus nose with slight hints of spicy, peppery and honey character. The palate is creamy in texture, slightly sweet with citrus zest, slight grain, honey and more pepper. The finish is long and lingering with a nice warming feeling.
