Luxardo Maraschino Cherries are without doubt (in my humble opinion, of course) the best and only Maraschino cherries for all one’s cocktail cherry requirements. As the famous label states Luxardo Maraschino Cherries are “The Original Maraschino Cherries” and were first produced by Luxardo in 1905 in the Italian town of Zara. Luxardo fine liqueurs are made in the Veneto region of Italy. Established nearly 200 years ago, the company is still owned and managed by the founding family. They are probably most famous for their range of spirits, Limoncello and Sambuca but they also produce a range of fruit jams and syrups.

These are Marasca cherries, the same cherries exclusively cultivated by the Luxardo family that are used in their award-winning Luxardo Maraschino liqueur. The cherries are macerated in a pure, rich Marasca syrup. They are used by the finest bars and restaurants the World over, as their quality and versatility mean that not only do they make for exquisite garnishes, but are also incredible for cooking.
