Description
Notes – 2003 was a very hot year but with good vineyard management a good harvest was made. The 2003 was aged for 8 months in French (80%) and American (20%) oak. The grape varieties are 34% Tempranillo, 33% Merlot, 31% Cabernet and 2% Syrah from Campo Martuela and El Casar of La Guardia Estate. It is a cherry-red colour and has aromas of balsamic and red fruits with toastt, oak notes. On the palate the wine is well-balanced with soft tannins. There is a good balance between fruit and oak wirth a predominance of fruits of the forest.
