Come and try excellent whiskies from Torabhaig on the Isle of Skye and Mossburn Distillers, known for their innovative cask finishes.

Torabhaig Whiskies

This whisky tasting will showcase the complete and current selection of Torabhaig’s subtly peated single malts. Among these is the celebrated Cnoc Na Mòine, which features sherry-cask influences along with notes of orange peel, vanilla, and gentle peat smoke. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample the entire Torabhaig range, including their most recent release, Torabhaig Sound of Sleat. This expression is aged in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks and virgin American oak casks, making it a must-try for whisky enthusiasts.

Mossburn Whiskies

We will also be showing a pair of Mossburn whiskies. The first of these is a 12 year old blended malt with a Calvados cask finish (from Dupont Calvados) which offers vibrant notes of vanilla, baked red apples, and ginger. The second is a bottling of vintage Craigellachie Single Malt 2007 finished in ex Marsala casks (a sweet, fortified wine from Sicily) with notes of dried fruits, caramel and a hint of spice
