Vedrenne Cherry Brandy Liqueur is a high-quality cherry liqueur made by Vedrenne, a prestigious French liqueur producer with a rich history. This is a great Cherry Brandy for drinking neat, over ice or for mixing your favourite cocktails, including the Singapore Sling.
Vedrenne was founded in 1923 by Joseph Vedrenne in Nuits-Saint-Georges in Burgundy, initially for the production of premium Creme de Cassis liqueur, like their Supercassis, made primarily from the famous Noir de Bourgogne blackcurrant variety. This blackcurrant liqueur has been their calling card since the beginning and is particularly well-known for use in cocktails such as the Kir Royale.
Vedrenne developed new techniques for fruit maceration whereby fruit was protected from light so that the pure, fresh fruit flavours and aromas were preserved in the final product. By the 1950s, the company had expanded to produce dozens of fruit liqueurs and sirops and had started to export abroad. Today, the family group’s premium liqueurs and fruit syrups are found in bars, cafés, hotels and restaurants in over 60 countries.
The company offers a portfolio of 38 premium liqueurs. Their range spans from vibrant fruit classics like peach and raspberry to aromatic botanicals and exotics such as elderflower, violet, lychee, and passion fruit.
In addition to their world-class liqueurs and syrups, the Vedrenne family has grown into a custodian of French spirits heritage, incorporating legendary distilleries like Pagès, producers of Verveine du Velay, and the iconic Salers gentian liqueur.

Appearance: A deep, dark red colour with intense crimson reflections.
Nose: Vibrant aromas of wild cherry steeped in eau-de-vie, accented by a subtle note of cherry stone (noyau).
Palate: Bold and powerful with a refreshing, slightly tangy edge. The finish is long and elegant, characterised by delicate notes of almond.
Singapore Sling Recipe
30ml Gin (London Dry usch as Fifty Pounds works best)
15ml Cherry Brandy Liqueur
7.5ml DOM Bénédictine
10ml Fresh lime juice
10ml Grenadine
60ml Fresh pineapple juice (preferably unsweetened)
1 dash Angostura bitters
Ice
Soda water (optional, to top)
Garnish: Pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake hard for 10–12 seconds.
Strain into a tall glass (Hurricane or highball) filled with fresh ice.
Top lightly with soda water if desired.
A perfect pairing for dark chocolate or cherry-based desserts.
