Kingston Black Apple Aperitif is an apple-based aperitif made by the Somerset Cider Brandy Co. at Pass Vale Farm in Burrow Hill near Martock.
Kingston Black Apple Aperitif is made by blending freshly pressed apple juice, including juice from Kingston Black apples, with Somerset Cider Brandy. As such, it is an English equivalent of Pommeau de Normandie from France. The apple juice retains some sweetness to produce an apple liqueur with a depth and quality of flavour which has made the Kingston Black apple variety a legend in the apple orchards of the West Country.
