W & J Graham’s was founded in Oporto, Portugal’s second city, in 1820 by the two brothers William and John Graham and for nearly two hundred years Grahams Ports have been made by just two families, the Grahams and the Symingtons – in 1970 the Grahams sold the company to the Symington Family (who also own Dow, Warre and Cockburn). The remain one of the most prestigious Port houses. The quality of Graham’s Port relies on the finest grapes, primarily sourced from five iconic quintas in the Douro Valley: Quinta dos Malvedos, Quinta do Tua, Quinta das Lages and two others, Quinta da Vila Velha and Quinta do Vale de Malhadas, which are privately owned by members of the
Symington family.
Graham’s Aged Tawny Ports are made from wines of the very highest quality which, following careful selection are blended and subsequently matured in seasoned casks for a number of years until their peak of maturity is attained. Grahams 10 Year Old Tawny Port Aged in seasoned oak pipes (534 litre casks) for an average of ten years and blended to a consistent marque each time it’s bottled. Graham’s 10 Years Old Tawny Port is a tribute to craftsmanship. It epitomizes the passion for excellence and precision that is at the heart of every one of Graham’s handmade Tawny Ports.
If you are intrigued by Graham’s 10 Year Old Tawny Port, you’ll be pleased to know that Graham’s 20 year old, 30 year old and 40 year old Tawny Ports are also available in the same impressive 4.5 Litre Format.
The 4.5 Litre bottle format is also known as a Rehoboam and is equivalent to six standard 750 ml bottles. Like other large-format wine bottles, it is named after a Biblical king. Rehoboam was the son of King Solomon. This size of bottle is more commonly used for Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne wines than for Port.
Grahams 10 Year Old Tawny Port has a deep tawny colour. On the nose, it shows complex nutty aromas combined with hints of honey and figs. The palate has rich mature fruit flavours, beautifully mellowed with a luscious long finished.
Grahams 10 Year Old Tawny Port is a perfect match to sweet pastries, such as apple pie with cinnamon. To be enjoyed slightly chilled.

The Graham’s Vintage Port Bond is an innovative offering that allows individuals to purchase vintage port in the year of its harvest, making it an ideal gift for marking special occasions such as births, weddings, or graduations. It is a “futures” option, a bit like “en primeur.”
Traditionally, vintage port is declared and released approximately 18 months after the harvest, but with the Port Bond, you can secure your allocation in advance. You can choose between a single bottle or a case of six bottles of Graham’s Vintage Port, and in years when only a Single Quinta Vintage is produced, the bond entitles the holder to magnum bottles of Grahams Quinta dos Malvedos instead.
