W & J Graham’s Port was founded in Oporto, Portugal’s second city, in 1820 by the two brothers William and John Graham and for nearly two hundred years Graham’s Ports have been made by just two families, the Grahams and the Symingtons – in 1970 the Grahams sold the company to the Symingtons who brought with them their own rich heritage in the Port trade.
Graham’s Aged Tawny Ports are made from wines of the very highest quality which, following careful selection are blended and subsequently matured in seasoned casks for a number of years until their peak of maturity is attained. These are among the most demanding and challenging styles of Port to produce, requiring great skill and years of experience from the winemaker. It is essential to strike the correct balance between the delicacy and elegance which result from prolonged cask-ageing and the rich fruit quality which lends these old Tawny Ports their structure, freshness and longevity. The quality and high reputation of Graham’s Port rely on the finest grapes, primarily sourced from five iconic Quintas in the Douro Valley: Quinta dos Malvedos, Quinta do Tua, Quinta das Lages and two others, Quinta da Vila Velha and Quinta do Vale de Malhadas, which are privately owned by members of the Symington family.
The Graham’s Master Blender composes this blend for the Grahams 30 Year Old Tawny Port from wines put to aside in the cellar by his great-grandfather, his grandfather, his father and his uncles. He also sets aside wines for future generations. Grahams aged Tawny Ports show a characteristic “nutty” quality and delicious mature honeyed fruit, exquisitely mellowed by ageing in seasoned oak casks. It is the contact with the wood of the cask that works hand-in-hand with time to create one of Graham’s greatest wines. All of Graham’s Tawny Ports have their own individual characteristics, the complex flavours and aromas that pervade each of these unique wines have been developed through selecting only our top quality wines from Graham’s four spectacular Quinta’s in the Douro Valley to age in seasoned oak casks in their 1890 Lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia.
Graham’s 30 Year Old is a light, orange-tinted amber colour. Magnificent nose showing an array of dried fruits. A matured, concentrated palate with full honeyed fruit. Gorgeously mellow, with an amazing, long finish.

The Graham’s Vintage Port Bond is an innovative offering that allows individuals to purchase vintage port in the year of its harvest, making it an ideal gift for marking special occasions such as births, weddings, or graduations. It is a “futures” option, a bit like “en primeur.”
Traditionally, vintage port is declared and released approximately 18 months after the harvest, but with the Port Bond, you can secure your allocation in advance. You can choose between a single bottle or a case of six bottles of Graham’s Vintage Port, and in years when only a Single Quinta Vintage is produced, the bond entitles the holder to magnum bottles of Grahams Quinta dos Malvedos instead.
