The company was founded by Jean Villiger in the small town of Pfeffikon, Switzerland, where Villiger remains headquartered to this day. The sell over 1.5 billion cigars per year! Today the cigars are made in Germany.

Villiger Export Round Cigars are machine made in Switzerland with a balanced, pronounced Cuban seed blend and a high-quality original Sumatra wrapper. The filler tobacco is a blend of tobaccos derived from Cuban seeds grown in Brazil, Nicaragua, Dominican, Indonesia and Italy – it is reminiscent in flavour to Cuban short filler. The Sumatra wrapper (Sumatra is a sub-species of black tobacco, it can be grown anywhere) is from Nicaragua. Confused?
