La Invicta Honduran 58 Cigars are hand-rolled at the Tabacos De Oriente Factory in Honduras. The factory is owned by the Plasencia family and produces cigars for Rocky Patel and Flor de Selva amongst others. The La Invicta Honduran blend is made using the finest leaves sourced locally from Talanga and Jamastran. They offer subtle, lighter, sweet and spicy yet delicate flavours ideal for new smokers.
The La Invicta brand name is owned by Hunters and Frankau who are the exclusive agents for Habanos S.A. and distribute all their Cuban cigars in the UK. The brand was created in the 1940s when, during World War II, they could not purchase Cuban cigars in US dollars. Instead Hunters and Frankau created La Invicta cigars which were made from Jamaican tobacco to keep the UK supplied during wartime. The brand has recently been resurrected and includes Honduran and Nicaraguan versions. With the exception of the La Invicta Nicaraguan Shorts all of the cigars within each range are made entirely by hand using long-filler tobacco leaves.
The La Invicta Honduran 58 Cigar is a short stubby size and the hefty ring gauge reflects the trend for shorter, thicker cigars that offer a quicker smoke in today’s hectic world. Smoking time around 25 to 30 minutes.
These cigars are sold untubed from our humidor. Presented in a cellophane wrapper.
