This mixed case contains two bottles of each of the following aged Rioja wines:

Urbina Crianza (2 Bottles)

• Urbina Crianza Rioja 2012, Bodegas Urbina – Aged for 12 months in American oak casks followed by a minimum of 6 months in bottle. Displays a ruby red colour with mature garnet hues. The intense nose is dominated by mellow ripe strawberry, vanilla, coconut and subtle white pepper spice. The palate is well-balanced and complex with blackcurrant, incense, musk and creamy herbaceous notes backed by a refreshing, persistent acidity.

Urbina Reserva (2 Bottles)

• Urbina Reserva Especial Rioja 2006, Bodegas Urbina – Aged for two years in a mix of French and American oak casks and a minimum of two years in bottle. Bright dark ruby in the glass. The nose offers fine black fruit, black cherry, ripe plum, leather and tobacco notes that integrate seamlessly with the oak. The palate is round, silky and smooth with a voluptuous mid-palate of concentrated ripe berry fruit and a long, elegant finish.

Urbina Gran Reserva (2 Bottles)

• Urbina Gran Reserva Especial Rioja 2004, Bodegas Urbina – Aged for at least 36 months in oak barrels and a further 48 months in bottle. Splendidly mature and complex with aromas of fig, cherry, plum, dried apricot jam, cigar box and distinct spices including cinnamon, vanilla and clove. The beautifully structured palate reveals harmonious oak, sweet fruity tannins, hints of leather, toffee and a wonderfully velvety, lingering length.
