Mossburn Single Cask BenRiach 2010 PX Finish is a single vintage, single cask, third party bottling of Speyside Single Malt Whisky. It is part of Mossburn’s Single Cask range, a collection of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies each issuing from a strictly limited and select batch of casks. 

Mossburn Distillers & Blenders is a brand new Scotch whisky project owned by Marussia Beverage which is part of the empire controlled by Swedish billionaire Frederik Paulsen. The company is headquartered at Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders on the site of the former Jedforest Hotel. Their new distillery, called Reivers Distillery, will be one of the first new distilleries to be built in the Borders for over 150 years. Mossburn have also established Torabhaig Distillery on the Isle of Skye, which opened in 2017 (the second distillery on Skye after Highland Park). The parent company also own the Kaikyo Distillery in Japan which produces Hatozaki whiskies. Not content with this, they have also created the peaty Caisteal Chamuis whisky range. The first Mossburn bottlings were released in 2017. Building a whisky distillery and waiting for whisky to come online (the spirit has to be aged for at least 3 years before it can even be called whisky) is a long term project. So, in the meantime, Mossburn have started the ball rolling by bottling a small collection of ever-changing single malt whiskies and two permanent blended malts, an Island and Speyside, with bespoke cask bills. There are also some very limited occasional single cask bottlings.

The BenRiach Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery which is located in the Speyside region of Scotland. It is situated near the town of Elgin in Moray. The distillery has a long and storied history, dating back to its founding in 1898 by John Duff. The distillery has changed ownership several times over the years and is currently owned by Brown-Forman Corporation. In recent years, BenRiach has gained a strong reputation and has released a variety of expressions, including core range bottlings and limited editions

Mossburn Single Cask BenRiach 2010 PX Finish was distilled in December 2010 and bottled as an 11 year old in November 2022.

It is finished in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry hogshead and bottled, non chill filtered, natural colour at a cask strengthe of 62.5% ABV.
