Chateau Garraud is located on a variety of rich terroirs on the Pomerol plateau – gravel, clay-gravel, deep clay with “crasse de fer and clay-sand. With an average age of 25 years, the vineyard consist of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. 80% of the wine is aged for approximately 18 months in oak barrels and then bottled at the Chateau.
