Conviviale Primitivo is an Italian red wine from Puglia in the south of Italy. It is 100% Primitivo.
Adria Vini emerged in 2003 from a partnership between Boutinot and Araldica Vini Piemontesi, Piemonte’s premier co-operative. Under the careful guidance of Araldica’s winemaking duo Claudio Manera and Lella Burdese, every stage of production receives meticulous attention—from selecting the finest grapes to the final bottling. Through close collaboration with local growers and cooperatives, they’ve built a reputation for crafting genuine, accessibly-priced wines that showcase indigenous grape varieties.
Pinot Grigio forms the foundation of the white wine collection, drawn from carefully selected sites in Pavia—just south of Milan—alongside exceptional parcels in Friuli and the Veneto. The portfolio expanded in 2008 to include Prosecco from the Veneto and Sicily’s native treasures: Grillo and Catarratto. For the reds, the focus shifts to southern Italy’s hidden gems, where established, low-yielding vineyards in Sicily, Puglia, and Abruzzo yield wines of remarkable character and value. Among these, the Primitivo from Salento’s sun-drenched peninsula in Puglia stands out as a signature expression.
A warm, richly flavoured red with aromas of plums, dried fruits and brown spices. On the palate it is generous with good concentration of ripe plum and black cherry fruit and hints of dried figs, liquorice and dark chocolate.
The perfect partner to grilled meats, pasta dishes with meat or spicy sauces and hearty stews.
