Privilegio de Romale Tinto Roble is a red wine blend produced by Bodegas Romale in the Extremadura region of Spain. It is bottled as a Ribera del Guadiana Denominacio de Origen.
Bodegas Romale was founded in 1989 and is located in the town of Almendralejo in the heart of the DO Ribera del Guadiana appellation. Romale source their grapes from a number of growers in the region of Tierra de Barros. The vineyards cover some 300 hectares and are all under the direct control of the Bodega’s technical staff. The winery itself is one of the most modern and innovative in Extremadura and Ribera del Guadiana DO.
Privilegio de Romale Tinto Roble is a blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes undergo a 10 day maceration followed by fermentation at 25c. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 5 months.
