The Montecristo Petit Edmundo Cigar is a short Robusto reflecting the current trend for shorter cigars with more girth. Ideal if you haven’t got the time for a robusto or longer cigar.
Montecristo have to be one of the most famous of all the Cuban Cigar brands. It takes its name from Alex Dumas’ famous book “The Count of Montecristo” which was a favourite when it was read to the cigar rollers, or Torcedores, whilst they worked. The factory was founded in 1935 and they make two ranges of cigars, the Linea Clasica and the new Open Range. The Clasica range is a classic medium to full bodied range of cigars, whilst the Open range is a little lighter in style.
Montecristo cigars are a perfectly balanced blend of selected tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo which produces a medium to full flavour with a distinguished aroma. The Montecristo Petit Edmundo Cigar is a newish release and is a short Robusto reflecting the current trend for shorter cigars with more girth. Ideal if you haven’t got the time for a robusto or longer cigar.
Presented individually in a cedar lined aluminium tube.
