Charles Tobias lived an extraordinary life: a decorated U.S. Marine Corps fighter pilot who survived being shot down in Vietnam, he later built a multi-million-dollar technology company before walking away to sail around the world on a five-year voyage. In 1979, he famously persuaded the British Admiralty to share the centuries-old official Royal Navy rum recipe, founding Pusser’s Rum to revive the legendary spirit while donating royalties to Royal Navy charities until his passing.

Grab a bottle soon. Some of the previous Pusser’s Rums Limited Editions have become very collectable. These have included the 2020 Black Tot Day 50th Anniversary, a blend of aged Trinidad and Guyana rums from five stills, made to the Admiralty’s specification when the daily rum issue ended in 1970. This was followed by the 2022 Deptford Dockyard Reserve and the 2023 Coronation Reserve, created to salute the coronation of King Charles III.
