Rosé Wine

1 bottle Katie Jones Rosé

A lovely, refreshing, pale pink Rosé. A blend of Carignan, Syrah and a touch of Muscat with a beautiful nose of strawberry and spring flowers and a fresh, gentle wash of summer fruit on the palate with just enough acidity to round it off.

White Wine

1 bottles Domaine Jones Vineyard Collection Grenache Gris

Dry white wine with great minerality. It has an intense and richly fruited nose with notes of spring flowers, almond blossom, melon and pear, as well as fennel, herb and spice notes. The palate is textured and broad with rich melon and herbs.

Red Wines

1 bottle Domaine Jones Vieilles Vignes Fitou

A full-bodied, rich red wine blend of Carignan and Grenache. packed full of dark fruits, hints of strawberry, blackberry confit, spicy, peppery notes and hints of anise. Flavours of cherries, cherry stones, dark fruit and pencil boxes with an almost jammy, but dry, finish. There are also herbaceous and liquorice nuances.

1 bottle Domaine Jones Grenache Noir

Full-bodied red with rich and soft brambly fruit that is also delightfully pure and fresh thanks to minimal use of oak. There is lots of succulent, ripe, red and black fruit character (strawberries and raspberries) with a savoury, damson-y acidity, hints of black pepper spice, silky textured tannins and a lightness of touch that makes this red moreish-ly drinkable.

1 bottle Domaine Jones Vineyard Collection Syrah

Another superb old vine wine. Dark purple. Intense and warming on the nose. Well-integrated oak and very opulent and almost Rhone in style. Very good fruit of blackcurrants and black cherries, some liquorice spice and pepper, finishing with refreshing menthol.

1 bottle Domaine Jones Vineyard Collection Carignan

In Katie’s words, ”This red wine is very much alive and kicking with red berry fruits, spice and pepper. Carignan is the bad boy grape of the Languedoc. It was prized for its high yields, which made a less than average wine and went into most of the blended wine in this area. Now it is seeing something of a renaissance as old vines (and mine are over 100 years old) and small yields make a lovely, concentrated, big wine.”
