Description

Chateau Bruni Bordeaux Rose is a rosé wine from Bordeaux, bottled as a Bordeaux AC.

Chateau Bruni Bordeaux Rose is produced by for negociants J B Audy by SCEA Bruni who are located in the commune of Blasimon, in southwestern France, in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers wine-growing region. SCEA Bruni is run by Bruno Cazautets. Fifth-generation winemaker Bruno is from a well-known wine-making family: his grandfather founded and ran the local co-operative called Cave de Sauveterre. Today Bruno is responsible for over 80 hectares of vines and produces various wines including Chateau Bruni and Chateau La Maurine. The company has been following “La lutte raisonnée” or reasoned / sustainable agriculture since 2005.

The grape varieties are carefully blended by Audy’s oenologists and then vinified in the traditional way. The blend of the Chateau Bruni Bordeaux Rose is 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting Notes

Chateau Bruni Bordeaux Rose has a seductive light pink colour. It has an aromatic nose with floral notes and hints of red berry fruit. The palate shows more fresh fruit and raspberry character leading to a fresh, dry finish.

Food Pairing

Serve Chateau Bruni Bordeaux Rosé chilled at 10 to 12c, great with picnics, shellfish, poultry and summer salads.
